Security Engineer

About the Position: We are actively seeking experienced candidates to join our growing Security Team as a Security Engineer. The successful applicant will have a technical hands-on experience in implementing, configuring and running security tools, both on premise and in the cloud.   This hands-on role will play a key part in our continuing focus on security and within our security refresh program. The successful candidate will work in a global team and must be willing to adjust their working hours to suit the global needs. Responsibilities: Design, implement and administer the technical security solutions of the Information Security infrastructure, systems and applications for our SaaS applications Performs hands on technical vulnerability testing of the company's technology infrastructure, network, systems and applications Install, configure and/or run various tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, Email protection, Firewalls, anti-virus and anti-malware systems. Work with SIEM solution to improve log analysis and correlation, build dashboards to show alerting and security posture Monitor security tools for potential threats. Work with Privilege Access Management tools. Ability to install, configure and administer PAM tools. Help infrastructure team in setting industry approved security configuration for Unix and Windows systems Perform firewall rules review Experience: Hardening applications and OSs including Windows and Linux  Have strong knowledge of Firewalls, DLP, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, URL filtering etc  Have strong hands on experience with SIEM and vulnerability tools  Have strong hands on experience with PAM tools  Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN and endpoint security technologies Experience with DLP technologies Endpoint protection administrator Web Application Firewall Malware/Sandboxing/Advanced Threat Protection Experience with various cloud providers, as well working as a cloud solution provider (SaaS) Experience working with development tools (DevSecOps, OWASP, code analysis, etc) Required Skills: A degree in a related field, such as Computer Science 5+ years' of Information Security experience Security industry certification (CCSP, CEH, Cloud Architect, etc.) The ability to explain complex IT matters to those without an IT background An enthusiasm for staying up to date with the very latest updates about security threats and solutions Solid troubleshooting skills, good communications skills, both written and oral, ability to multitask in a fast, dynamic environment built on multi-vendor security controls

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
