What you will do: Sterling National Bank is looking for someone to provide strategic development and oversight of the team managing the day to day operational functions required to onboard and supportTreasury Management Support clients. In addition, you will create and maintain internal compliance standards, policies, and procedures that govern job responsibilities and risk mitigation for operations staff. This role will ensure that the team meets quality standards and SLAs for implementation, maintenance and support of a variety of Treasury Management products. You will perform direct supervisory and hiring duties for the department coordinating staffing coverage in all related areas of the department and will lead and/or provide support on with complex projects that impact Treasury Management products, services and support. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide a high level of technical and operational leadership including ongoing support and expertise for complex processes and applications to all colleagues by maintaining continuous communication with peers/vendors and act as a point of contact for the Marketing, Treasury, Treasury Management, and Operations departments. Act of subject matter expert and client advocate with internal stakeholders; negotiate with vendors to ensure services provided support optimal product delivery. Troubleshoot complex issues with potential to affect multiple clients; identify and resolve treasury management application and client issues while limiting impact; implement system enhancements and work with Products and IT to develop and implement sound and reliable client solutions. Provide monthly/annual financial analysis, planning and forecasting to various lines of business and develop recommendation for plans to address and disseminate information as required to support each region. Write and maintain internal compliance standards for the "Operations Manual" which is policies that govern job responsibilities and risk mitigation for operations staff. Monitor operational controls within the business and identify any deficiencies and support the initiation of appropriate corrective actions to ensure controls are adequate in partnership with Divisions Presidents. Lead, mentor and motivate all colleagues within this chain of command by ensuring frequent and timely delivery of all performance feedback. Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.   Required Skills For this position, you must have at least 8 years of experience in managing teams within Treasury Management. This position also requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing treasury management operations strategy and policies.  Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor's, and/or Master's) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration Ability to exercise judgement consistent with department guidelines and internal policies and procedures. Strong ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Strong conceptual thinking, good ability to take a holistic and integrative view, and willing to take risks after prudent analyses. Understands, describes and navigates existing work, organization and makes recommendations with a clear sense of organizational impact. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
