Systems Engineer

Requirements and Responsibilities As part of the ITS Unit, the Systems Engineering team provides systems and application configuration and hands-on administration for Windows based operating system servers in a 24/7, highly available environment. This Senior role requires an advanced knowledge of Windows server engineering, project leadership and/or architectural design and expertise. The Systems Engineer will support highly complex systems including integration, security and high level Windows server administration. This individual provides input regarding future direction and growth of the Windows server infrastructure, performing design and implementation of enterprise wide infrastructures, which includes Windows servers, and VMWare projects and initiatives. Responsibilities Influence and contribute to detailed designs, functional and technical, for all projects. Provide expertise and recommend optimal solutions to meet technical and business requirements. Drive and deliver on strategic planning, design, and support of global server infrastructure including business recovery and continuity planning. Produce output in a highly collaborative environment, with the ability to organize and coordinate teams towards a common goal. Collaborate with Windows Engineering team members in the development, presentation, and demonstration of operational systems. Oversee efforts and accountable to resolve enterprise Widows server infrastructure challenges.   Must Haves        Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.        Experience in designing, developing, configuring, and implementing enterprise server platforms in a 300+ Windows and VMware server farm environment.        7 or more years of experience with Windows Server Administration and hardware.        5 or more years of experience with VMWare and Citrix.        Outstanding customer focused communication and relationship building skills.        Excellent written and verbal communication with proven documentation skills.        Excellent time management and organizational skills.        Ability to manage multiple high priority project deliverables.   Nice to Haves        Solid understanding of disaster recovery methods and practical experience recovering complex networks. Experience in disaster recovery planning and execution.        Vendor management and engagement experience.        Scripting and automation skills relative to infrastructure technologies.        Certification in any of the following areas: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), VMWare (VCP), Citrix (CCP).        Hands-on work experience with Dell, USC or HP blade technologies.        PowerShell scripting experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
