OEMS Implementation Manager

A global leader in broker-neutral, execution and order management trading systems for equities, FX, options, futures and fixed income securities is seeking an OEMS Implementation Manager to join their team in Great Neck. You will be part of pre-sales technical meetings and product demonstrations with prospective clients and be involved in projects to drive the immediate and strategic OMS initiatives involving direct interaction with front, middle, and back office.

This candidate will write functional specifications with supporting use cases; create project implementation plan including resource allocation and defining milestones and project dependencies. You will help improve all stages of an OMS deployment and will establish sync points with internal teams, external vendors and clients. This role will be responsible for validating all the key business OMS functionality and overseeing testing for user acceptance and business use cases.


  • 5+ years of buy-side investment technology implementation experience
  • Prior Implementation Management/ Business Analyst experience with an end-to-end implementation of an Order Management System at a hedge fund
  • Experience implementing software in a large-scale environment
  • Excellent data analysis and technical skills within the realm of Order Management Systems
  • Good understanding of software product development lifecycle is a plus
  • Experience with SQL and Unix
  • Working knowledge of trading systems and network infrastructures
  • Strong understanding of the financial markets, front and back office
  • Ability to develop a strong working relationship across team and other departments
  • Able to manage workload and allow flexibility to accommodate customer needs
  • Understand the compliance rules and regulations which govern the financial industry
  • Series 7 or Financial certification Equivalent
  • PMP or CAPM certification

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
