Senior Accountant


Under minimal to no supervision, the Sr. Accountant applies Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in preparing complex financial reports and various analyses to be used for management review.

Essential Duties and Responsiblities

  • Oversees timely submission of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned areas.
  • Leads creation of supplemental schedules for all SEC filings.
  • Manages payments, reporting and review of Sales team Broker commission accounts.
  • Interprets and summarizes monthly profit data to justify income statement fluctuations.
  • Prepares documentation for sales and use tax reporting, property tax audits, and additional tax reporting.
  • Manages data collection for external financial audits.
  • Reviews wire payment requests and ensures proper documentation submission.
  • Assist Accounting Manager with reviewing work quality of the manufacturing facility accountants/ staff accountants.
  • Assists with special projects, as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
