Account Executive
Job Description: Account Executives are responsible for the servicing and marketing needs of clients and prospects, including but not limited to the following activities:
initiate renewal activity
create/update coverage specifications
deliver/present submissions to markets and participate in negotiations
review quotes and prepare proposal
participate in renewal presentation to client
bind coverage with underwriters prior to expiration
complete final policy checks
deliver policies to clients.
Other duties include: Analyze situations, identify problems, recommend solutions, and evaluate outcomes. Respond in a timely manner to the requests and needs of clients. Make a positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strive to improve service to the customer. Communicate in a positive manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment. Motivate, instruct, and promote teamwork and associate development. Protect the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position. Comply with procedures and policies. Attend unit meetings, educational workshops, carrier functions, staff meetings, and social events when requested.
