Sr. Director of Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Drive strategic direction that improves productivity and reduces costs
Lead the technology direction and standards for Linux and Windows computing environments, which includes cloud strategy going forward.
Develops and drives the implementation of the solution team and corporate infrastructure roadmaps; plans changes to staffing and infrastructure as required.
Drive high internal and external client satisfaction with stable and cost effective platform environments.
Collaborate with Senior Leadership to help manage and develop the capability of a team of Infrastructure teams across 8 locations in the US and Canada.
Establish Governance model and KPI's for all hardware/OS performance
Defines and establishes Department operational and strategic planning, goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
Provide regular written and verbal updates to Executive management team
Prioritizes and assigns projects/tasks for Sysco associates.
Manage all aspects of 3

party vendor and Managed Services partners (SLA's, Change management, etc.)
Review and evaluate the performance of the managed services partner with respect to platform support and strategy.
Coordinate responses to critical issues and provide updates and information to the business and management as requested.
Ensure platform related projects are delivered on time and within budget
Manage Project budget of approximately 20 - 30 million dollars annually
Manage annual budget of approximately 40
million dollars (separate from project budget)
Keeps current with trends and issues in the IT industry; advises, counsels and educates executives and management on their impact.
Provides consultation/expertise on complex projects and other IT activities.
Chair the Infrastructure Review Board that drives new technology introductions
Requirements
Advanced knowledge in computer systems and technologies, project management principles, business management/theory/processes, budgeting.
Proven leadership ability, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), excellent interpersonal skills, superior analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems, strong negotiation skills, strong presentation skills, keen attention to detail, exceptionally self-motivated and directed with a service orientation.
Education:
Four year college degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience:
10
years of experience in managing the installation, configuration and support of platform/storage software, hardware, appliances and monitoring tools used in supporting an enterprise infrastructure
Demonstrated success leading infrastructure teams that consistently exceed performance goals.
Knowledge of Cloud technology and cloud computing

years managing large, enterprise wide server deployments.

years managing large budgets in excess of $40 million
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with business leaders.
Ability to effectively foster strong relationships with technology staff, Users, Senior/Executive management team and 3
