Our FIX team is looking for a motivated FIX Analyst, who will be involved with the testing of FIX connectivity.
Responsibilities:
Configuring the FIX connections
Maintaining and monitoring production service bureau connections on FlexTrade FIX network.
Creating broker provide algorithm tickets using FlexTrade ticket builder application
Develop shell and Perl scripts for certification automation, monitoring etc
Carry out FIX certifications in all assets (Equities, FX, Futures and Options) including single and multi-leg orders.
Be able to easily check logs etc on a Unix / Linux environment and manage their FlexTrade installs
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related
In depth knowledge of the FIX (Financial Information Exchange) protocol required (FIX 4.0. 4.2 and 4.4).
A sound technical background in Linux / Unix operating systems
Knowledge of trading products in the Equities, FX, Futures and Options markets
Working knowledge of Shell and Perl scripting
Ability to independently analyze and solve complex technical problems
Must be able to assess, research, and propose solutions to technical problems without support
Ability to assimilate and apply new technologies through independent research
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, with a demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of people to explain technical situations and present information
Minimum of two years securities industry knowledge
Programming experience is a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
