Summary:
Looking for a key member of the team to help support products, both from a trading and technical prospective. This is a great opportunity to join a high-profile team for a company with a proven track record of delivering industry leading Front Office trading applications.
Responsibilities:
-Deploy trading software for new clients.
-Work with clients, sales and developers defining trading and technical requirements.
-Test new client builds and help certify new FIX implementations.
-Use critical thinking skills to eliminate causes of problems and find solutions to both technical and trading issues.
Qualifications:
-2
years solid experience in either FIX Support or Trade Support.
-Strong knowledge of US option markets required.
-Experience with financial Front End applications (preferably option analytic) in supporting traders and portfolio risk managers.
-Demonstrate excellent customer service skills working with customers in high stress situations on complex problems.
-Ability to work as a good team player with different internal business and IT groups to communicate and resolve any technical issues.
-Basic knowledge of Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows server 2008.
-Excellent writing and technical skills with proven experience writing high-quality documentation for software applications.
-Strong knowledge of FIX protocol and testing procedures.
Desired Skills:
-Strong interest in equity derivatives. Basic knowledge of equity options and market structure.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Scripting experience (Python/VB/Batch Scripting/Powershell).
-Familiarity with C#, XML a plus.
-Professional demeanor. Strong customer interaction skills. Integrity, sound judgment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
