Overall around 8 years of experience and will be responsible for design, technology evaluation and development of Python/Jython based web applications in an enterprise architecture . Sould
extremely good technolgy appreciation, aptitude and communciation skills to be able to talk to senior technology/solution stakeholders at client locations.
Advance skills Python and/or Jython 2.5.2 ( at least 1-2 years of experience in these skills)
Knowledge of one or more of the following frameworks - Django, PyLon & SQLAlchemy
Good Database skills in one of - MYSQL, DB2m Oracle & Any other relational database
His Python is good but not great. Same for Django. He has done a lot of things, and his knowledge supports his resume claims, but has not learned about either Python or Django in great depth. Could be a useful developer, learning what he needs as he goes, but Vlad isn't going to find him to be a replacement for Vladimir Buraru.
No SQLAlchemy experience. Has used MySQL and PostgreSQL, but not the other RDBs. Has used J2EE, servelets, struts JDBC, Tomcat. No Hudson but yes Jenkins. Has done unit test.
Summary: Worth considering as a Python/Django developer, especially if Java work is also needed, but not enough for the role that Vlad has in mind. Still, maybe Vlad needs to re-think (Buraru was a rare find).
