Family/Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity Near GREAT NECK, NY
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Full Scope of Primary Care:
Provide a comprehensive range of primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance. - Patient Evaluation:
- Review patients history and perform physical examinations.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care.
Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Clinical Diagnostic Skills:
- Demonstrate quality clinical diagnostic skills in delivering patient care.
- Review all test results and recommend suitable management, including preventive health recommendations and habits.
- Prescription and Treatment Plans:
- Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
- Relationship-Centered Care:
- Provide relationship-centered care, considering both psychosocial and physical needs of the patient.
- Record Keeping:
- Collect and record patient information, maintaining complete and accurate medical records.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care.
- Educational Participation:
- Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Degree:
Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent. - Residency:
Completion of three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.
S.
accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Experience:
Open to both experienced and newly trained providers.- Certification:
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine. - License:
Must possess current, unrestricted New York State license. - Registration:
Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration. - Enrollment:
Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll. - Certification:
BLS or ACLS required. - Communication Skills:
Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written. - Technology Comfort:
Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.
