POSITION DESCRIPTION We are currently seeking a manager to work primarily on the weekends which are our busiest days of the week and when most of our parties take place.
Providing great customer service and an exceptional experience for our customers by utilizing the staff will be the initial primary focus of this role.
Managing the staff and all associated aspects such as scheduling, training and ensuring they are energized and performing at a high level is an extremely vital part of being successful.
Additionally, the manager will be responsible for the overall operational aspects of the business, with a focus on weekend operations, and will work very closely with the owners and other team members on achieving a high level of operational excellence.
Being a strong team leader and communicator in this position is extremely important in the busy environment you will be operating in.
A successful candidate in this role will have additional upside opportunity over time to expand their mandate and responsibilities to include leading and contributing to business growth and expansion activities.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & QUALITIES 5
years managing experience in a customer service type role preferably family entertainment, food service, or childcare dealing with parents of young children 5
years managing staff Process oriented with the ability to identify inefficient processes and improve them Ability to multitask and work under pressure Energetic and customer service focused Ability to listen to, handle and resolve customer-based situations in an acceptable manner An organized go-getter with excellent oral and written communication skills who knows how to manage their time A flexible leader with managerial expertise and top-notch analytical and decision-making skills, with a knack for operations ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Create a positive and fun culture that creates a sense of teamwork and commitment amongst staff Ensure party hosts and their guests are being attended to by staff and receiving the best party experience possible Creating weekly work schedules for the staff in a strategic manner to ensure operations run as smoothly as possible Recruit, interview, and hire staff who will operate at a high level and go above and beyond for our guests Provide initial and ongoing training and development for a team of 30-40 Be on the floor constantly to coach team members and keep your finger on the pulse of the guest experience Maintain brand, safety, and cleanliness standards while follow operating procedures Job Type:
